Skin Checks

If you have any skin lesions or moles that are worrying you, we will be happy to look at them. At Northland Plastic Surgery we offer a full skin check service by a qualified plastic surgeon who will undertake checks with the use of a dermatoscope (a magnifying tool used to inspect and diagnose skin lesions). The surgeon will be able to identify benign lesions and lesions of concern. If there any concerning lesions are identified, then these can be promptly removed or biopsied.

Prevention is critical in the management of skin cancer. Your surgeon will also advise you regarding sun protection and surveillance to prevent new skin cancers from forming in the future.
